Lip Flip Process
The lip flip process is very straightforward and is done by our Registered Nurse Injector, Katie Winner. She’ll start by cleaning the treatment area. From there, she’ll inject 4-6 units of Botox into the lip muscle. You may feel a slight stinging sensation, but most patients tolerate it very well. Once the injections are done, you can go back to work or home immediately.
After Your Lip Flip
After your lip flip treatment, avoid any strenuous exercise, alcohol, and blood thinners. You’ll also want to refrain from putting any pressure on the treatment area. You may see some swelling, bruising, or tenderness, but it will be very mild and dissipate after 24- 48 hours.
Initial results typically appear within a few days, with full results showing up in 1-2 weeks as the Botox goes into full effect.
