Lamprobe
The Lamprobe is an innovative unit utilized to cosmetically treat a wide range of minor skin irregularities such as:
- Broken capillaries
- Milia
- Fibromas
- Skin tags
- Cherry angiomas
- Cholesterol deposits
- Keratoses
- Acne pimples
- Clogged pores
The Lamprobe works on the principle of radio vaporization and was developed in 1990 by Hubert Lam, Founder of Skin Care Consultants in Toronto, Canada. This technology utilizes a combination of high frequency and radio frequency which are attracted to liquids on the surface of the skin or within the skin irregularity. This enables the nurse to cosmetically treat unsightly skin abnormalities without penetrating the skin's surface. Lamprobe cosmetic procedures are quick (often within seconds of application process) and the treatment is tolerable to patients.
