Dermal Fillers
For most patients, the first wrinkles that appear on the face are caused by repetitive facial movements and expressions, such as crow’s feet and horizontal forehead lines. These can be treated using Botox. As the natural aging process continues, however, fat deposits on the face naturally shift away from the upper two-thirds of the face, the skin loses natural hydration, and the effects of gravity begin to show. This lost volume results in additional wrinkles around the mouth or across the cheeks as well as a hollow or sunken appearance. When this is the case, injections of dermal fillers are a great solution.
Dermal fillers are a type of injectable treatment that restore youthful volume to the face in key areas such as the cheeks, below the eyes, or around the mouth. The products can also be used to contour key areas such as the chin or add volume to areas such as the lips. By restoring lost volume, patients can enjoy reduced wrinkles, smoother skin, and an overall rejuvenated look.
At Lewisburg Plastic Surgery, dermal filler injections are completed by experts including our board-certified plastic surgeons & registered nurse injector. We offer a range of filler options to suit various patient needs.
Before & After Photos
Dermal filler injection process
Dermal filler injections can be completed in as little as 30 minutes. After a brief consultation, injections can be made in our office. Prior to receiving injections, you should avoid taking any blood-thinning medications or supplements such as aspirin, St. John’s Wort, or Vitamin E. In most cases, numbing is not necessary as the injectables include lidocaine within their formulas for more comfortable treatment.

Liquid Facelift
At Lewisburg Plastic Surgery, we offer a liquid facelift procedure. This treatment is a non-surgical alternative to a traditional facelift for patients with less severe signs of aging and good skin elasticity. While a traditional facelift patient has excess drooping skin, a liquid facelift may see similar unwanted signs of aging caused primarily by volume loss. As such, dermal fillers including Juvéderm can be used to restore volume to multiple areas of the face. Your liquid facelift will be carefully planned by our board-certified plastic surgeons for customized results.
How long does Juvéderm last?
Juvéderm is not permanent, as the body naturally and safely metabolizes the product over time. However, the treatment is relatively long-lasting, with patients enjoying results for up to two years on average. After the product dissipates, maintenance injections are an option.
