Popular Liposuction Treatment Areas: Arms, Abdomen, Thighs, and More

Are you tired of stubborn pockets of fat that won’t budge despite healthy eating and regular exercise? At Lewisburg Plastic Surgery, our board-certified surgeons specialize in liposuction, a safe and effective solution to those persistent problem areas. Whether you’re seeking sleeker arms, a flatter abdomen, or more sculpted thighs, liposuction can help you achieve the contours you’ve always wanted.
What Is Liposuction?
Liposuction is a minimally invasive procedure that removes unwanted fat deposits from targeted regions of your body. It’s not a weight-loss method; instead, it’s designed for body sculpting and refinement, helping patients who are at or near their ideal weight achieve smoother, more defined curves. At Lewisburg Plastic Surgery, our advanced techniques mean precise fat removal and minimal downtime, all performed in a comfortable setting by our experienced team.
Popular Treatment Areas
Patients from Lewisburg, PA, and throughout Central Pennsylvania turn to liposuction for reshaping those frustrating spots where fat tends to accumulate. The most requested areas include:
- Arms: Excess fat in the upper arms often resists diet and workouts. Liposuction creates streamlined, more toned arms that boost your confidence when wearing sleeveless styles.
- Abdomen: The stomach is one of the most popular areas for liposuction. Treatment here can help flatten your midsection, highlight your natural waistline, and improve clothing fit. Many patients also combine abdominal liposuction with a tummy tuck for total transformation.
- Thighs: Both inner and outer thighs can develop stubborn fat deposits, sometimes referred to as “saddlebags.” Liposuction can help achieve proportionate, shapely legs and a smoother silhouette.
- Other Problem Areas: Liposuction is also commonly performed on the chin, flanks (sides), hips, back, and knees. Our surgeons personalize every procedure, so the results perfectly match your goals.
Are You a Candidate?
Ideal liposuction candidates are generally healthy adults at, or close to, their target weight but struggle with isolated fat deposits. Good skin elasticity enhances results and helps achieve smoother contours. Liposuction works best for areas with fat that doesn’t respond to diet or exercise, not as a solution for major weight loss.
